VOWS stands for Voted Outstanding Wedding Supplier and is an awards body set up in 2005 to recognise all types of
companies within Scotland that offer excellent customer service within the wedding industry.
The awards are voted for by recently wedded couples and in 2010 there were over 11,000 nominations – year on year
this number is increasing.
The VOWS Awards has become the pinnacle of the wedding industry calendar, culminating in a prestigious ceremony
and dinner in November where over 500 wedding professionals gather to acknowledge high levels of service.
Learn 2 Wedding Dance are proud to have been involved in the VOWS Awards since 2007, and equally proud of
the recognition of their hard work, by the brides and groom who have voted them each year since then.
Over the last year Learn 2 Wedding Dance teacher, Felicity Drever, has worked extremely hard to help her brides and grooms
achieve the First Dance they dreamed of having, and winning the 2010 Vows Award for Specialist Wedding Services is
testament to that hard work.
This years fantastic glitterball event was held at the Hilton Hotel in Glasgow,
and hosted by the hilarious Fred MacAulay. Everyone had a great night. Here are some pictures.
